When lecturers don't wear Watches and college doesn't use bell...

F-*-*-K !!!  Every day starts with this word, when we look at the clock in the early morning(only if you agree that 8'o clock is early) and realise that there are only 30 minutes left for classes to start but more than 30 tons of things to think about, like brushing, orkutting, facebooking( expecting friend requests from beautiful girls of the class, but ofcourse they need not request any such thing, as we BOYS are always ON for those kind of re'quest's..)... ok, lets continue anyway, what was i telling....?? yes brushing, orkutting, facebooking and next comes the most important one, eating the breakfast and then starts the most 'un'imporant thing...  C-L-A-S-S-E-S....!!!!

And now comes the real fun that exists in the class rooms of N.I.Ts. Firstly, while entering into the classroom, we the students will expect to create miracles in the subjects of that day's class, but unfortunately we end up only in mysteries on what the lecturers are teaching, why is nothing going into the head(only if one had such a thing..) then at this very moment, heart of every student sings a song...

"Confusion hi confusion hain, solution kuch patha nahi,
Solution jo mila tha sala, question kya tha patha nahi..."

like this every class continues... and the runtime of every class is 55minutes.. And we somehow try to concentrate on black boards instead of back looks.. And after each 55 minutes we expect lecturers to pass out at once, but none of our lecturers wears a wrist watch and our college doesn't have a bell to ring after when each class ends, so that, lecturers can have an idea on our most valuable time, but unfortunately they don't. They never valued our time, but we the very good students always valued their time, which is why we sometimes declare holidays for the lecturers in the form of mass-bunks, but howcome they never did it in reverse, for our sake...??? Why...!!!

And after this hectic class schedule, starts the real N.I.T hostel life... Every PC and every laptop of each student will be booming with the wallpapers of most stunning and gorgeous celebrities(ofcourse female celebrities, i'm talking about boys hostel)... After desktop background, next thing we all care about is whether internet is working, and nitians(\\172.0.16.18) LAN address, for new movies, games, & everything.... And friends moving from one room to another except into theirs' and hanging around in the sports complex, gym, and in th NIT market, and in NIT koka for evening snacks, and some so called bibliophiles will be hanging in library & reading room....

But, a bad thing happens everyday at every N.I.T in the country exactly at 7pm... all the girls in the campus SHOULD be back to their girls hostels, and i tell you, this is the only bad thing for each and every boy on the campus, as almost half of the glow around the campus dies off at once..    no not once, but daily at 7pm :-(

And many boys return back to hostel realising that after 7pm, there is no need to hang around the campus (except for those bibliophiles who stays untill late nights in reading room), and we resume the chit-chat or usless talk about that whole day's classes, next assignments, future mass bunks and upcoming vacations and every possible useless(excluding vacation) issues...

And again comes the most important thing, dinner. After dinner we again come back to rooms and start enjoying @ 9pm with internet upto late night, and then opening nitians LAN and copying movies and watching them, and playing games upto something like 2 am and then drowse ourselves into another most important and worthy thing called     S-L-E-E-E-E-(upto 8am only)-P-I-N-G and again like that the new day starts with new aspirations, new dreams to succeed, to achieve, or some funny things like that..

And again the above whole thing RECYCLES itself...

AAL IZZ( even if it isn't now, wait, it will be later, ) WELL.....!

I realised, yet again...!

"Akka(sister), still how many more years should i continue my education, I'm getting mad about these education and career and all, can't i have anything good to do in my life apart from education???"
This is how i felt about education when i was 6 years old, in my 1st standard of my schooling. I wanted to stop my education in my 1st standard itself, but now.... I am 21years old and am a student of N.I.T-[Natioanl Institute of Technology] doing my Masters in Computer Applications...

I sometimes wonder myself, if it's really me who spoke such funny things about education just at the age of 6......!!!!

6 years to 21 years.... 1st standard in school to Post Graduation in N.I.T..... this journey in between, had been my Life's most vital part...

Basically you are born, but education makes you a Man, a Human.

I realised a lot about education. It taught me the value of character, goodness, honesty, decency, and above all it taught me the real value of Life. In these 15 years of my educational life, i've seen many ups and downs, i've faced many failures in diversified walks of life, but each failure had been a lesson for me, and yes ofcourse learning lessons is what is called as educaton... Isn't it?

Previously when I was with a childish mentality, say like 13 or 14 years old, i used to think, "what are these IITs & NITs doing in the country? How are people being able to study so hard to get into them? Does it really worth it? Is education so essential for one's life?"

But, only after becoming an N.I.Tian myself did i realise pitch perfectly, what the value of everything in education is...! I now regret for not trying to prepare for IIT in my +2(12th standard). But, i'm thankful to the Almighy for making me an N.I.Tian atleast, if not an IITian.

Ever since i've started seeing the value in education, i've started getting crazy about IITians and students of IIM( now don't make me tell you about IIMs, about IIT i can only regret, but for IIM i might even kill myself).
Recently, in my college, i.e., NIT-Kurukshetra, i've had some friends in B.Tech first year, when i was having usual chat with one of them named Deepak Kumar of B.tech CSE Dept, we were discussing about colleges and placements, then Deepak mentioned that one of his cousin is earning a 70Lakh per annum as a starting salary..! and then he unlocked the doors of my craziness by revealing the fact that his cousin was a B.Tech graduate from IIT-Bombay and (oh! God. i can't write this) MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad, and his CAT score was 99.95 percentile through which he got into IIM-A. (Now, this man can do whatever he want in his life, he is literally going to spend a golden life, forever, and he can change the lives of some others, as he isn't a common person, he is a product of IIT-B and IIM-A.)

And believe me, it took me more than one complete minute to cool down my mind from the craziness for education at IITs and IIMs...
Then i realised yet again, the real value of education in Life....

Wow yaar..! IIT-Bombay & IIM-Ahmedabad....
I wish I was him....

With adoring love for the students of N.I.Ts, IITs, & IIMs...
